Virtue Recruitment are proud to be working with our 5 star client and we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, driven professional to become our assistant restaurant manager.

Key Result Areas

• Recruit and maintain a staffing level in accordance with business needs
• Communicate necessary information to all of the team
• Monitor weekly rostering to ensure maximum utilisation of staffing levels, in accordance with business needs and Annual Hours
• Review the team members performance to maximize their contribution to the hotel, where necessary arrange appropriate internal or external training courses to help team members development
• Provide effective management and mentoring for all levels
• Communicate and develop relationships with all interdepartmental teams around The Resort
• Support other operational teams when and where necessary
Interact with guests developing a relationship to ensure all guest experiences are surpassed and log feedback
• Use guest feedback as a tool for continuous improvement in service performance
• Liaise and socialize in a business manner with long stay, repeat and potentially new guests
• Ensure that all team players are fully briefed at all times in regards to the business needs of the resort
• Effectively plan all operational activities to deliver on business goals, festivals and promotions
• Reduce at all times any cost of failure
• Analyse and prepare a monthly P&L departmental report highlighting areas for improvement
Liaise with the appropriate Head Chef to ensure all seasonal menu changes are implemented alongside all the necessary budgetary needs and training
• Be aware of new trends and market influences
• Be open minded and flexible at all times
• Continually review, innovate, research new experiences and service levels to guests adding value both to the customer and business value
• Train and develop team members to continually deliver a high quality product
Plan accordingly to the latest resort forecast
• Prepare and Annual Business Plan in conjunction to the business goals of the overall Food and Beverage Annual Plan
• Ensure all team players are aware of the teams financial accountability and responsibility
• Continually suggest alternative ways of controlling costs and driving revenue opportunities
• Experience the business as a guest to ensure at all times services are customer focused
• Provide sufficient time to ensure all office management is up to date and appropriate to business needs
• Provide a monthly 4C’s (Community – Contribution – Creativity – Consistency) for the monthly Operations Meeting
• Attend the daily Food and Beverage Operations Briefing
