All to often our Trainers are hearing feedback from drivers concerned that they have never received adequate training (from employers or other training providers) on how to use a tachograph head after obtaining their professional licence and are frequently incurring infringements.

Work Related Tachograph Training (WRTT):

1 day course (8 hours approx.) split into the following;

08:00 start to 17:00 (VRHQ or on-site)

  • 08:00 – 10:00 – Drivers Hours Rules;
  • 10:00 – 10:15 – Comfort/refreshment break;
  • 10:15 – 12:00 – Driver Hours & Tachograph Awareness
  • 12:00 – 13:00 – Lunch;
  • 13:00 – 15:00 – Use of Tachographs;
  • 15:00 – 15:15 – Comfort/Refreshment break;
  • 15:15 – 16:30 – Practical Tachograph Training (Combination of on screen digital simulator & Live simulator);
  • 16:30 – 17:00 – Driver knowledge test;

Course completion will provide:

  • 7 hours D-CPC accreditation/Certification (JAUPT);
  • VR accreditation/Certification;
  • Cost £110.00 + VAT (at 20%) per delegate (£132.00)
  • Maximum delegates per class: 15 per day
  • Requirements: Current LGV Licence/C1 Licence (7.5t), Current Digital Tachograph Card, Current D-CPC/Module 4 (for newly qualified drivers).
